For the eastern North Pacific...east of 140 degrees west longitude:
1. A trough of low pressure continues to produce disorganized showers
and thunderstorms several hundred miles south-southwest of the Gulf
of Tehuantepec. Although strong upper-level winds and nearby dry air
should limit development during the next couple of days, slow
organization of this disturbance is possible early next week while
it moves generally westward at 10 to 15 mph.
