Monthly Tropical Weather Summary

For the Central North Pacific, between 140W and 180W:

The 2021 tropical cyclone season in the central North Pacific 
featured three tropical cyclones that moved into the Central 
Pacific Hurricane Center (CPHC) area of responsibility, which 
is below the seasonal average. Tropical Depression Felicia and 
Tropical Depression Jimena moved into the north Central Pacific 
basin, and were immediately declared remnant lows. Tropical 
Storm Linda crossed into the basin, and eventually became a 
post-tropical gale low. Linda weakened to a remnant low as it 
passed through the main Hawaiian Islands a few days later.
