For the eastern North Pacific...east of 140 degrees west longitude:

1. A trough of low pressure continues to produce a small area of
showers several hundred miles south of the Gulf of Tehuantepec.
Although nearby dry air is likely to limit development for the next
couple of days, some slow organization of this disturbance is
possible thereafter through early next week while the system moves
generally westward at 10 to 15 mph.

* Formation chance through 5 days...low...20 percent.
