For the eastern North Pacific...east of 140 degrees west longitude:

The National Hurricane Center is issuing advisories on newly formed
Tropical Depression Eighteen-E, located near the southwest coast of
Mexico.

1. A broad area of low pressure continues to produce shower and
thunderstorms over the far eastern Pacific. Some gradual development
of this system is possible over the next few days before the system
moves inland over Central America early next week.
* Formation chance through 48 hours...low...20 percent.
* Formation chance through 5 days...medium...40 percent.

Public Advisories on Tropical Depression Eighteen-E are issued under
WMO header WTPZ33 KNHC and under AWIPS header MIATCPEP3.
Forecast/Advisories on Tropical Depression Eighteen-E are issued
