For the eastern North Pacific...east of 140 degrees west longitude:

1. Disorganized showers and thunderstorms continue in association with
a broad area of low pressure located about 1300 east-southeast
of the Big Island of Hawaii. Some slow development of this
disturbance is possible during the next day or two before strong
upper-level winds inhibit tropical cyclone formation.  This system
is expected to move west-northwestward into the Central Pacific
Hurricane Center's area of responsibility on Sunday.
