ZCZC MIATWOEP ALL TTAA00 KNHC DDHHMM TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK NWS NATIONAL HURRICANE CENTER MIAMI FL 1100 AM PDT SAT MAY 30 2015 For the eastern North Pacific...east of 140 degrees west longitude: The National Hurricane Center is issuing advisories on Hurricane Andres, located several hundred miles southwest of the southern tip of the Baja California peninsula. 1. Showers and thunderstorms associated with a weak area of low pressure located a few hundred miles south of Acapulco, Mexico are limited. Strong upper-level winds associated with Hurricane Andres are currently inhibiting the development of this low. However, these winds should begin to weaken by Monday and the formation of a tropical cyclone is highly likely by the middle of next week as the system drifts west-northwestward. * Formation chance through 48 hours...low...20 percent * Formation chance through 5 days...high...80 percent Forecaster Avila
