For the central North Pacific...between 140W and 180W:
1. Southwestern East Pacific:
A tropical wave located well southwest of the southern tip of the
Baja California peninsula is producing disorganized showers and
thunderstorms. Some slow development of this system is possible
over the next several days while it moves generally westward at
about 15 mph. Upper-level winds are forecast to become unfavorable
for further development over the weekend, about the time the system
enters the Central Pacific basin.

Elsewhere, no tropical cyclones are expected during the next 7 days.
