For the North Atlantic...Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico:

Active Systems:
The National Hurricane Center is currently issuing advisories on 
Post-Tropical Cyclone Idalia, located just southwest of Bermuda, 
Tropical Storm Gert, located several hundred miles east-southeast of 
Bermuda, and on Tropical Depression Twelve, located several hundred 
miles northwest of the Cabo Verde Islands.  The National Hurricane 
Center and has issued the last advisory on the remnants of Jose, 
located several hundred miles northeast of Bermuda.

1. Eastern and Central Tropical Atlantic:
A tropical wave has emerged from the west coast of Africa 
and over the extreme eastern tropical Atlantic.  Environmental 
conditions appear conducive for some gradual development of this 
system by the middle part of next week, and a tropical depression 
is likely to form while it moves westward to west-northwestward at 
15 to 20 mph over the eastern and central portions of the tropical 
Atlantic.
