For the eastern North Pacific...east of 140 degrees west longitude:

1. A trough of low pressure located several hundred miles south- 
southwest of the southern tip of the Baja California peninsula 
continues to produce disorganized showers and thunderstorms. 
Conditions are forecast to be only marginally conducive for slow 
development of this disturbance over the next day or so as it moves 
west-northwestward.  By the middle of the week, environmental 
conditions are expected to become unfavorable for further 
development.
