For the eastern North Pacific...east of 140 degrees west longitude:

1. A westward-moving broad area of low pressure located nearly 1000 
miles southwest of the southern tip of the Baja California peninsula 
is producing disorganized showers and thunderstorms. Some limited 
development of this system could occur within the next day or so 
before upper-level winds become unfavorable for further 
development.
