For the eastern North Pacific...east of 140 degrees west longitude:

1. A broad area of low pressure located several hundred miles 
southwest of the southwestern coast of Mexico continues to produce 
disorganized showers and thunderstorms.  Some gradual development 
of this system is possible during the next couple of days while it 
moves slowly westward or west-northwestward. By mid-week, however, 
environmental conditions are expected to become less favorable for 
tropical cyclone formation.
