1. An area of low pressure could form over the far western portion of 
the eastern Pacific basin or around 1500 miles southeast of Hilo, 
Hawaii later this week. Environmental conditions are expected to be 
generally conducive for development while the system moves slowly 
westward.

* Formation chance through 5 days...low...20 percent.

Elsewhere, no tropical cyclones are expected during the next 5 days.
