For the central North Pacific...between 140W and 180W:
1. Showers and thunderstorms associated with a broad elongated area of
low pressure around 950 miles southeast of Hilo, Hawaii, remain
poorly organized early this morning. Environmental conditions will
become slightly more conducive for some gradual development during
the next few days, before becoming hostile this weekend. Development
of this system, if any, will be slow to occur as it moves westward
at around 10 mph.

Elsewhere, no tropical cyclones are expected during the next 5 days.
