For the eastern North Pacific...east of 140 degrees west longitude:

1. A broad area of low pressure is expected to form south of the 
Gulf of Tehuantepec within a couple of days.  Some slow development 
of this system is possible this weekend or early next week while 
the low moves westward, offshore of Mexico.
