For the eastern North Pacific...east of 140 degrees west longitude:

1. Disorganized showers and thunderstorms located a few hundred
miles southwest of the southern coast of Mexico are associated with
an elongated area of low pressure.  Some development of this system
is possible over the next couple of days while it moves slowly
westward.  By late this week, conditions are expected to become
unfavorable for development.
