For the central North Pacific...between 140W and 180W:

1. Shower activity continues to diminsh in association with an area of
low pressure about 1100 miles southeast of Hilo, Hawaii. This system
is moving west-northwestward near 10 mph into unfavorable
environmental conditions, and tropical cyclone formation is becoming
less likely.

* Formation chance through 5 days...low...30 percent.

Elsewhere, no tropical cyclones are expected during the next 5 days.
