For the eastern North Pacific...east of 140 degrees west longitude:

The National Hurricane Center is issuing advisories on Tropical
Storm Flossie, located about 1000 miles southwest of the southern
tip of the Baja California Peninsula.

1. A broad area of disturbed weather is associated with a tropical
wave located a few hundred miles south of Acapulco, Mexico.  Some
gradual development of this system is possible late this week while
the system moves quickly westward, away from the coast of Mexico.

* Formation chance through 5 days...low...20 percent.
