For the eastern North Pacific...east of 140 degrees west longitude:

1. Shower and thunderstorm activity located a few hundred miles south
of the southern coast of Mexico is associated with a tropical wave
and a weak area of low pressure.  While this activity has increased
somewhat since yesterday, environmental conditions are not forecast
to be particularly conducive for development during the next several
days while it moves westward to west-northwestward well offshore of
the southern coast of Mexico.
