For the eastern North Pacific...east of 140 degrees west longitude:

The National Hurricane Center is issuing advisories on Tropical
Depression Gilma, located about 1500 miles east of Hilo, Hawaii.

1. A broad area of low pressure located several hundred miles
south of Acapulco, Mexico, is producing disorganized showers and
thunderstorms.  Environmental conditions appear conducive for some
slow development of this system during the next several days while
it moves westward to west-northwestward.

* Formation chance through 5 days...low...30 percent.
