For the eastern North Pacific...east of 140 degrees west longitude:

1. An area of low pressure located about 1400 miles west-southwest of
the southern tip of the Baja California peninsula is producing a
limited amount of showers and thunderstorms.  Development of this
system is not expected due to very strong upper-level winds.
This disturbance is expected to move west-northwestward at 10 to 15
mph during the next couple of days.

* Formation chance through 5 days...low...near 0 percent.
