For the North Atlantic...Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico:

The National Hurricane Center is issuing advisories on newly formed
Tropical Depression Eighteen, located over the northwestern
Caribbean Sea near the Isle of Youth, Cuba.

1. A non-tropical low pressure system is expected to form during the
next few days over the east-central Atlantic Ocean. Some subtropical
or tropical development of this low is possible by the middle of
next week while it meanders well to the southwest of the Azores.
* Formation chance through 48 hours...low...near 0 percent.
* Formation chance through 5 days...low...30 percent.

Public Advisories on Tropical Depression Eighteen are issued
under WMO header WTNT33 KNHC and under AWIPS header MIATCPAT3.
Forecast/Advisories on Tropical Depression Cyclone Eighteen
are issued under WMO header WTNT23 KNHC and under AWIPS header
