For the eastern North Pacific...east of 140 degrees west longitude:

1. An area of low pressure located near the southeastern coast of
Mexico continues to produce disorganized showers and
thunderstorms.  This system is likely to become a tropical
depression during the next few days while it moves westward to the
south of the coast of Mexico.

* Formation chance through 5 days...high...70 percent.
