For the eastern North Pacific...east of 140 degrees west longitude:

1. A well-defined low pressure system, located about 800 miles south
of the southern tip of the Baja California peninsula, is producing
a large area of cloudiness and thunderstorms.  Associated shower
activity continues to become better organized, and environmental
conditions are conducive for a tropical depression to form on
Friday while the low moves west-northwestward or northwestward at
about 10 mph.
