TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK

For the eastern North Pacific...east of 140 degrees west longitude:

The National Hurricane Center is issuing advisories on Tropical
Storm Agatha, located more than 1000 miles west of the southern tip
of the Baja California peninsula, and on recently upgraded Hurricane
Blas, located several hundred miles south-southwest of the southern
tip of the Baja California peninsula.

1. Disorganized showers and thunderstorms are associated with a weak
area of low pressure located several hundred miles south of
Acapulco, Mexico. Environmental conditions are expected to be
conducive for gradual development, and this system could become a
tropical depression later this week while it moves westward and then
west-northwestward.
