TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK

For the eastern North Pacific...east of 140 degrees west longitude:

The National Hurricane Center is issuing advisories on Tropical
Storm Agatha, located a little more than 1000 miles west-southwest
of the southern tip of the Baja California peninsula, and on
Tropical Storm Blas, located several hundred miles southwest of
Manzanillo, Mexico.

1. An area of low pressure is expected to form by the middle of the
week well southwest of the coast of Mexico.  Environmental
conditions are forecast to be conducive for gradual development of
this system while it moves slowly westward.
* Formation chance through 48 hours...low...near 0 percent
* Formation chance through 5 days...medium...40 percent
