For the eastern North Pacific...east of 140 degrees west longitude:

1. Shower activity associated with a low pressure system located
about 675 miles south of Manzanillo, Mexico, has decreased since
yesterday and remains disorganized.  However, environmental
conditions are conducive for slow development of this system, and a
tropical depression is still likely to form by late this week while
the low moves westward at 10 to 15 mph.
