ZCZC MIATWOAT ALL TTAA00 KNHC DDHHMM TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK NWS NATIONAL HURRICANE CENTER MIAMI FL 200 PM EDT FRI SEP 18 2015 For the North Atlantic...Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico: The National Hurricane Center is issuing advisories on Tropical Depression Nine, located about a thousand miles east-northeast of the Lesser Antilles, and on newly formed Tropical Depression Ten, located about a thousand miles west-southwest of the Cape Verde Islands. 1. A broad area of low pressure located east of the northeast Florida coast is producing a large area of disturbed weather extending from the eastern Gulf of Mexico across Florida and into the southwestern Atlantic Ocean as it interacts with an upper-level trough. Environmental conditions are expected to be marginally conducive for this low to acquire some subtropical or tropical characteristics during the next few days as it moves slowly northeastward off the southeast coast of the United States. An Air Force Reserve Hurricane Hunter aircraft is scheduled to investigate this system tomorrow, if necessary. Regardless of development, locally heavy rains are possible today over portions of the Florida Peninsula and coastal areas of Georgia and South Carolina.
