ZCZC MIATWOAT ALL TTAA00 KNHC DDHHMM TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK NWS NATIONAL HURRICANE CENTER MIAMI FL 200 PM EDT THU AUG 20 2015 For the North Atlantic...Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico: The National Hurricane Center is issuing advisories on recently upgraded Hurricane Danny, located over the central tropical Atlantic more than a thousand miles miles east of the Windward Islands. 1. A surface trough interacting with an upper-level low is producing an area of showers and thunderstorms to the southeast through southwest of Bermuda. A non-tropical low pressure system is expected to form within this trough over the western Atlantic during the next day or two, and environmental conditions should support some subsequent tropical or subtropical development over the weekend while the disturbance moves slowly northward. * Formation chance through 48 hours...low...20 percent * Formation chance through 5 days...medium...60 percent 2. A tropical wave that has emerged off of the west coast of Africa several hundred miles southeast of the Cape Verde Islands is producing disorganized showers and thunderstorms.
