For the eastern North Pacific...east of 140 degrees west longitude:

The National Hurricane Center is issuing advisories Hurricane
Blanca, located several hundred miles southwest of Manzanillo,
Mexico.

1. A low pressure area is expected to form early next week a few
hundred miles south or south-southeast of the Gulf of Tehuantepec.
Subsequent gradual development of this system is possible as it
moves slowly northwestward or northward.
