For the eastern North Pacific...east of 140 degrees west longitude:

The National Hurricane Center is issuing advisories on
Tropical Storm Vance, located about 190 miles southwest of
Mazatlan, Mexico.

1. Shower and thunderstorm activity has continued to diminish in
association with a trough of low pressure located a few hundred
miles south-southwest of Manzanillo, Mexico.  Significant
development of this system is not anticipated due to strong
upper-level winds.
