TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK NWS NATIONAL HURRICANE CENTER MIAMI FL 1100 PM PDT WED OCT 29 2014 For the eastern North Pacific...east of 140 degrees west longitude: 1. Showers and thunderstorms associated with a low pressure area located several hundred miles south of Acapulco, Mexico, continue to show signs of organization. Recent satellite images suggest that the circulation may be becoming better defined. If this trend continues, then the low would likely become a tropical depression overnight or Thursday while it moves generally westward at about 5 mph. * Formation chance through 48 hours...high...near 100 percent. * Formation chance through 5 days...high...near 100 percent.
