For the eastern North Pacific...east of 140 degrees west longitude:

1. Shower activity associated with a trough of low pressure that
extends from the Gulf of Tehuantepec southwestward for several
hundred miles has lost some organization since yesterday. Slow
development of this system remains possible over the next few days
as it moves slowly northward or northwestward.
* Formation chance through 48 hours...medium...50 percent.
* Formation chance through 5 days...high...60 percent.
