For the eastern North Pacific...east of 140 degrees west longitude:

1. Disorganized showers and thunderstorms continue in association with 
a tropical wave located several hundred miles southwest of the 
coast of southwestern Mexico.  An area of low pressure is forecast 
to form from this system in a few days while moving toward the
west-northwest at 15 to 20 mph, and some development is possible 
over the weekend or early next week before the low reaches cooler 
waters.
