For the eastern North Pacific...east of 140 degrees west longitude:
1. Disorganized cloudiness and showers located several hundred miles
southwest of the southern tip of the Baja California peninsula are
associated with an elongated trough of low pressure. Strong
upper-level winds currently affecting the system are forecast to
increase and become even less conducive for development during the
next day or so, and tropical cyclone formation is not anticipated
while the disturbance moves westward to west-northwestward at 10 to
15 mph.
