TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK

For the eastern North Pacific...east of 140 degrees west longitude:

The National Hurricane Center is issuing advisories on recently
downgraded Tropical Depression Roslyn, located several hundred miles
west-southwest of the southern tip of the Baja California peninsula,
and on recently downgraded Tropical Storm Ulika, located well
east-southeast of the Hawaiian Islands.

1. Showers and thunderstorms associated with a trough of low pressure
located near the southwestern coast of Mexico have increased since
yesterday.  Upper-level winds are expected to only marginally
conducive, and any development of this system should be slow to
occur during the next several days while this disturbance moves
west-northwestward and then westward away from the coast of Mexico.
