For the eastern North Pacific...east of 140 degrees west longitude:

1. Offshore of Southwestern Mexico:
A broad area of low pressure located several hundred miles south of 
southwestern Mexico is producing disorganized shower activity. 
Environmental conditions are forecast to be conducive for gradual 
development of this system and a tropical depression will likely 
form late this week or over the weekend while it moves generally 
west-northwestward, off the coast of mainland Mexico.
