For the eastern North Pacific...east of 140 degrees west longitude:

1. Central East Pacific:
Showers and thunderstorms are gradually increasing in association 
with a tropical wave located several hundred miles south-southwest 
of southern Mexico. Some additional slow development is possible 
during the next few days while the system moves west-northwestward 
at about 10 mph. However, the system is then expected to move into 
a more unfavorable environment by the middle portion of next week.

* Formation chance through 7 days...low...30 percent.
