LOCATED NEAR LATITUDE 21.3 NORTH...LONGITUDE 117.5 WEST. DOUGLAS IS
MOVING TOWARD THE NORTHWEST NEAR 6 MPH...9 KM/H...AND THIS MOTION IS
EXPECTED TO CONTINUE DURING THE NEXT DAY OR TWO.

RECENT SATELLITE DATA REVEALED THAT DOUGLAS WAS STRONGER THAN
PREVIOUSLY ESTIMATED. MAXIMUM SUSTAINED WINDS ARE NEAR 40
MPH...65 KM/H...WITH HIGHER GUSTS.  HOWEVER...WEAKENING
IS STILL FORECAST AND DOUGLAS IS EXPECTED TO DEGENERATE INTO A
REMNANT LOW IN A DAY OR SO.

TROPICAL STORM FORCE WINDS EXTEND OUTWARD UP TO 35 MILES...55 KM
FROM THE CENTER.
