For the eastern North Pacific...east of 140 degrees west longitude:
1. A trough of low pressure is moving into the Central Pacific basin
about 1200 miles southeast of the Big Island of Hawaii. Development,
if any, of this system is expected to be slow to occur while it
moves generally westward near 10 mph during the next several days.
