For the eastern North Pacific...east of 140 degrees west longitude:

The National Hurricane Center is issuing advisories on recently
downgraded Tropical Depression Agatha, located more than 1000 miles
west of the southern tip of the Baja California peninsula, and on
Hurricane Blas, located several hundred miles south-southwest of the
southern tip of the Baja California peninsula.

1. An area of disturbed weather is located several hundred miles
south-southwest of Acapulco, Mexico.  Environmental conditions are
expected to be conducive for gradual development, and this system
is likely to become a tropical depression by the end of this week
while it moves westward and then west-northwestward.
