For the eastern North Pacific...east of 140 degrees west longitude:

1. An area of low pressure is expected to form about 1000 miles
southwest of the southern tip of the Baja California peninsula
within a few days.  Some gradual development of this system is
possible late this week while this system moves west-northwestward.
