TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK NWS NATIONAL HURRICANE CENTER MIAMI FL 500 AM PDT SAT SEP 20 2014 For the eastern North Pacific...east of 140 degrees west longitude: The National Hurricane Center is issuing advisories on Tropical Storm Polo, located a couple of hundred miles south-southeast of the southern tip of the Baja California peninsula. The Weather Prediction Center in College Park, Maryland, has written the last advisory on the remnants of Odile. 1. An area of low pressure could develop early next week a few hundred miles south or southeast of southeastern Mexico. After that time, environmental conditions are expected to be conducive for some gradual development while this system moves slowly westward or west-northwestward. * Formation chance through 48 hours...low...near 0 percent. * Formation chance through 5 days...low...20 percent.
