For the eastern North Pacific...east of 140 degrees west longitude:

The National Hurricane Center is issuing advisories on Tropical 
Depression Eighteen-E, located a few hundred miles south of the 
coast of Guatemala.

1. A broad area of low pressure is producing disorganized showers 
several hundred miles south-southeast of the southern tip of the 
Baja California peninsula. Gradual development of this system is 
possible and a tropical depression could form during the next few 
days while the disturbance moves westward to west-northwestward at 
5 to 10 mph. Environmental conditions are forecast to become 
unfavorable for further development by early next week.
* Formation chance through 48 hours...medium...40 percent.
* Formation chance through 5 days...medium...50 percent.

WMO header WTPZ33 KNHC and under AWIPS header MIATCPEP3.
