Marine Weather HF Voice Broadcast for the Gulf of Mexico

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Synopsis for the Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...The northern half of a cold front from the Florida
panhandle to the Bay of Campeche will move slowly across the
Gulf. By Sat afternoon, the front will extend from the SW
Florida peninsula to the Bay of Campeche. South of 25N, the
front will remain stationary while strong N to NW winds are
expected west of the front through Sat morning. The cold front
will weaken by Sat night. A new, stronger cold front will
develop near the Mexican coast late Sat, extend from Alabama to
the Bay of Campeche by Sun afternoon, and exit the SE Gulf Mon
afternoon. Near gale-force NW to N winds are expected west of
the cold front on Sun. Winds and seas will diminish across the
Gulf on Tue and Wed.

.SAT...NE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft.

.WED NIGHT...Variable winds less than 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.

25 kt. Elsewhere, N winds 15 to 25 kt, shifting to NE 10 to
15 kt after midnight. Seas 6 to 8 ft. 
.SAT...NE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 4 to 6 ft. 
.SAT NIGHT AND SUN...NW winds 20 to 30 kt within 60 nm of coast
of Veracruz, and NW 15 to 25 kt elsewhere. Seas 5 to 7 ft. 
.SUN THROUGH WED...N winds 15 to 25 kt. Seas 5 to 7 ft. 
.WED NIGHT...NE winds less than 10 kt. Seas 3 ft.
