DISCUSSION AND 48-HOUR OUTLOOK

At 200 PM PDT (2100 UTC), the center of Tropical Storm Celia was
located near latitude 19.5 North, longitude 133.8 West. Celia is
moving toward the west-northwest near 13 mph (20 km/h). A general
west to west-northwest track is anticipated during the next
48 hours.

Maximum sustained winds have decreased to near 50 mph (85 km/h)
with higher gusts. Additional weakening is forecast and Celia
should degenerate into a remnant low in a couple of days or sooner.

Tropical-storm-force winds extend outward up to 140 miles (220 km)
from the center.

The estimated minimum central pressure is 1000 mb (29.53 inches).
