...SIMON RE-STRENGTHENS AND IS ALMOST A MAJOR HURRICANE AGAIN...
 
Satellite images and radar data from Cabo San Lucas suggest that 
Simon has strengthened significantly with maximum winds now 
estimated to be near 110 mph (175 km/h).  

This higher initial intensity will be reflected in the next full 
advisory package, which will be issued by 9 PM MST (0300 UTC).
