DISCUSSION AND OUTLOOK

At 500 PM AST (2100 UTC), the center of Tropical Storm Hanna was
located near latitude 36.5 North, longitude 48.7 West. Hanna is
moving toward the east-southeast near 17 mph (28 km/h). A
general east-southeast motion is forecast over the next day or two 
followed by a turn to the east-northeast. 
 
Maximum sustained winds are near 45 mph (75 km/h) with higher gusts. 
Only slight intensification is forecast in the short-term and Hanna 
is likely to become a post-tropical cyclone by the latter part of 
this week.
 
Tropical-storm-force winds extend outward up to 90 miles (150 km) 
from the center.
 
The estimated minimum central pressure is 1006 mb (29.71 inches).
