At 300 AM GMT (0300 UTC), the center of Tropical Storm Fay was
located near latitude 29.8 North, longitude 42.3 West. Fay is moving
toward the west near 6 mph (9 km/h), and is expected to shift 
west-southwest over the next 24 hours.
 
Maximum sustained winds are near 50 mph (85 km/h) with higher gusts.
Some slight additional strengthening is possible over the next 12 
hours. Thereafter, gradual weakening is expected through the 
weekend.
 
Tropical-storm-force winds extend outward up to 80 miles (130 km)
from the center.
 
The estimated minimum central pressure is 1005 mb (29.68 inches).
