DISCUSSION AND OUTLOOK

At 900 PM GMT (2100 UTC), the center of Tropical Depression Fay was 
located near latitude 28.9 North, longitude 44.0 West. The 
depression is moving toward the south near 5 mph (7 km/h). A 
south-southwest to southwest motion is expected over the next couple 
of days, followed by a turn toward the west-southwest with an 
increase in forward speed by mid-week.
 
Maximum sustained winds remain near 35 mph (55 km/h) with higher 
gusts. Fay will likely become a remnant low in a day or two, and 
dissipate later in the week.
 
The estimated minimum central pressure is 1011 mb (29.86 inches).
