DISCUSSION AND OUTLOOK

At 300 AM GMT (0300 UTC), the center of Tropical Storm Fay was 
located near latitude 34.1 North, longitude 31.9 West. Fay is now 
moving toward the east-southeast near 5 mph (7 km/h). A turn to the 
southwest is anticipated on Monday which should continue through the 
early part of this week.
 
Maximum sustained winds have increased to near 70 mph (110 km/h)
with higher gusts. Little change is strength is forecast tonight,
but Fay should begin to weaken on Monday. The tropical cyclone is
forecast to become a post-tropical cyclone by the middle of this
week.
 
Tropical-storm-force winds extend outward up to 80 miles (130 km)
from the center.
 
The estimated minimum central pressure is 995 mb (29.39 inches).
